My Sister's Keeper

Last weekend, I read a wonderful book called My Sister's Keeper. This book has has been made into a movie, which is really popular in America . The novel talks about a couple who has a son and a daughter, their daughter has leukemia (白血病), so they want to have another daughter to provide their older daughter, Kate, with some blood and marrow. Their other daughter Anna, knows what she has to do for her sister. At 13 years-old, Anna just can't bear having her mom wanting her to be her sister's medicine, so Anna went to a famous lawyer's office. She wants the laywer's help, and the lawyer Campbell agrees. Anna doesn't want Kate to die, but she just can't bear her parents. At last, Anna won the lawsuit, but when she and her lawyer were going home, they got into a traffic accident. Anna died, but her spirit is always in Kate's heart.


This book has taught me how to see that each thing can be different in some way. Having Anna die made me really sad. I think that this bestseller author has another very successful book . I recommend this book, if you have time to go to a library to read it.
