The H1N1 Virus
Recently, the world has been infected with the H1N1 virus. It is an illness that comes from pigs . It is not the same as SARS, H1N1 is easy to catch but the death rate is low, SARS is not as easy to catch but the death rate is higher.
Students who have a temperature can't go to school.
If two or more students are sick for three days, then the whole classroom has to stay at home for one week.
Many people have been infected throughout Taiwan, for some people it has been serious, and for others not so bad. Our school has had many classes suspend. Our class has had one who was infected, if our class has two infected, we are going to suspend classes. I don't like to have classes suspend because we will have to make up any missed lessons, it's tiresome.
A good way to prevent getting H1N1 is by washing your hands, and wearing a mask over your mouth and keeping 1 meter away from each other, if you are infected with H1N1, stay home and rest!
